- An advert I didn’t think I’d be writing but know it’s the fair thing to do. Luna was bought by for my little sister after falling madly in love with her earlier this year. Unfortunately my sister just doesn’t bother with her. Cold and wet nights, friends, etc - all have a taken a priority and it’s not fair on the pony anymore. I broke this pony in myself and have produced her since. We know her inside out and think the world of her. Luna is a 4yo , class 1 bred , 146cm , iron grey Connemara mare. Luna is HWSD tested and is N/N. No melanomas , sarcoids etc, completely clean limbed. Luna is kind and empathetic on the ground, easy in and out of the stable. She has no vices and is not Marish in anyway. 110% to clip. Loads and travels well. Turns out with mares or geldings, always easy to catch. Vaccinated up to date , teeth done not long ago. Always been barefoot. Luna works well on the flat. Three strong and correct paces. Works into a contact, straight forward and uncomplicated. I have recently competed her in two BRC dressage qualifiers, scoring above 60% both times with very little preparation at prelim level. She certainly has potential to be competitive in the show / dressage ring. Luna has been shown in hand by my very nervous and totally novice 10yo sister. She’s placed numerous times and always conducts herself well. Luna really likes jumping. She is bold and brave, textbook technique over a fence. Very easy for her age. Careful and correct, the potential is this sphere is uncapped. In my opinion she has enough scope , talent , and the brain for BS if rider desired. I’ve taken luna to a few cross country lessons and again she was so brave, taking it all in her stride. Very careful, plenty of scope. Never once strong or silly, always ridden in a snaffle. Luna hacks alone and in company and has seen several types of traffic. Although, she hasn’t been hacking for a while due to dark nights, no rider etc. Polite and reliable in open spaces. Never strong , she’s been taken out hacking by children, ridden by an 8 year old, leads the toddlers around on the leadrein etc. she really is very kind and uncomplicated. Has regularly attended riding club, clinics , local shows , etc all summer. Not just with myself but with children riding too. Had a month in the field for a bit of growing and reflection time. Now back in work and ready to find a home where she can have a job and be appreciated. She’s an extremely versatile mare. She could suit someone who wants to do low level competing, funrides etc or someone who wants a smart riding club pony or BS /BE she’s open to any inspection Available to view Comes with her full wardrobe Delivery available Full clinical history also accessible
