- Roo is a fantastic mare & has done a bit of everything but is still low mileage. She's not done much for a year other than hacking & schooling so she needs bringing back to fitness to get the most out of her. She’s great to hack alone or in company & isn’t phased by heavy traffic. She’s great in open spaces and I have often hacked her through open fields. Always snaffle mouthed, not strong, has good feet. Easy to load, clip, shoe etc. I’ve owned Roo for just over 2 years and have taken her cross country schooling, showjumping training and on numerous fun rides. She loves her jumping, and is comfortable jumping 70-80 cm. She does need an experienced & sensitive rider as she can be sharp and impatient at times. She’s also a very fine 15”3 thoroughbred so that needs to be considered for suitability. She would suit a rider who wants a super fun and genuine little horse. In 2021 she did have a field accident and caused a tendon injury. She has fully recovered and has been signed off by the vet. Both the vet and physio who treated her would be happy to confirm this and share any details you would want to know. The injury has not limited Roo & the price I’m selling her for reflects this. She did pass a 2 stage vetting in 2021 & I can disclose full medical history. I am only selling Roo as I’m pregnant and don’t have the time to put into her, which she needs and deserves. It’s an incredibly tough decision so all enquiries will be vetted as the home she goes to is far more important to me than a sale. Roo will come with a wardrobe which includes 4 turn out rugs, fly, stable and summer rugs. 4 sets of boots, bridle inc breast plate, saddle pads. All good quality brands. Albion saddle is available to purchase & can be negotiated at sale. She is now available for viewings in Looe, Cornwall. I have hundreds of photos & videos I can send over if requested.
