- Description
- Joey is easy to handle on the yard and is a lovely person to deal with. He has been schooled lightly and is a quick learner. I have hacked him everywhere, cantered him through open fields and he doesn’t get hot or buzzy. I have started to do some poles with him, only just started to pop a fence. He does not get fresh if has multiple days off in a row, he has never bucked/reared. He enjoys his work but is equally sane enough to not have to be worked everyday.
He is very good in all traffic, easy to hack alone or in company. Very good to shoe, worm, catch. Joey is very laid back, he’s happy to be out on his own 24/7 or to be stabled. I have had him next to mares and geldings, he is not bothered by either. He is a lovely person to be around and would make someone a lovely best friend. I am 5ft3 and I don’t feel over horsed by his size.
He is up to date with vaccs, teeth and physio. No vices or bad habits. Joey is offered for sale now as he was purchased as a summer project and I need to cut down numbers before the winter. He has been a pleasure to produce and will make someone very happy.
