Description: Rio, 16.3hh gelding. Rising 4 year old (August foal) Showmaker x San Amour Oldenburger passport Homebred out of my dressage mare. Rio was backed professionally by Jason Webb Horsemanship in Dec 2022. Who did all sorts with him, groundwork, backing, hacking, poles, lacrosse, long reining and general schooling. Very easy, laid back young horse with excellent paces. Travels well, been to hire at a few arenas, not spooky, brave and sensible in all ways, popped a few jumps under saddle and hacks alone and in company. Make a brilliant allrounder, pure dressage or eventer as he loves water and is bold and brave over jumps and out hacking. No vices, good for the farrier, loves to be pampered and leads like a big Labrador. Turns out in the field and stabled at night currently. He isn’t needy to other horses, independent type and comes across years older than he is. Up to date with vaccinations, dentals, and worming. Rio came back from Jason’s after being beautifully backed and continued his education before getting turned away to think about what he has learnt so far and develop as he is not 4 until August.
