- Just the Way You Are aka Bruno 12.2hh 11 year old Gelding CHAPS registered Super smart ultimate child’s pony. There is nothing this pony hasn’t turned his hoof to. Dressage, Showing, SJ, XC, Beach Rides, Gallops, PC Rallies, stay away shows, summer camps, and used for Horse and Pony Care training by local OBHPC. Good to shoe, bath, clip and hack. Handled by my 11 year old daughter. Never bucked, reared or bolted, good in open spaces. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and back. Will travel alone in a lorry and/or trailer. Never had laminitis or sweet itch Bruno really has been my daughters heart horse but sadly a growth spurt means he needs to go and make another little jockeys dream come true. He is not a kick along, and more of a second rather than FYFR pony. Bruno is a dressage diva and has never failed to bring home a rosette. He has taken my daughter from Intro, through Prelim and just starting Novice where in his first test he scored over 67%. We have started to work on lateral movements with him and he really enjoys this. Has qualified and competed twice at the Sunshine Tour with the best result being reserve Intro Champion. Competed also at Cricklands Winter Dressage Championship and was Intro Champion and 0.5 marks off Supreme Champion. Won lots of local Riding Club Dressage series in both Intro and Prelim. Showing Bruno competed at Your Horse Live in the SEIB Pony Club First Ridden. Qualified for the Sunshine Tour as First Ridden and Coloured Pony but we were not allowed to compete due to YHL qualification. Has also been Supreme Ridden Champion at Lambourne Country Show having won his First Ridden class. Bruno will jump but needs a very confident rider for this. We have competed successfully SJ up to 60cm and have also done XC where he was more comfortable. Have done numerous pole clinics where he will look at the poles to begin with but soon gains confidence once over a few. Has been out with hounds and wasn’t phased at all. Will come with full set of rugs and tack. Home’s will be vetted as Bruno has truly been one in a million for us and wouldn’t be going anywhere is he was a mare.
