- Simba is a stunning and flashy lad, by Simba (Heartbreaker) x Touchdown. 3 superb paces and although he has been eventing we think he could have great potential in pure dressage as well. He has competed at BE100, 6th in his last outing at Norton Disney Oct 22. He is very confident at this level and ready to step upto novice next season with potential for more. He has also showjumped upto 110. Simba has been slow to mature, he has lacked self confidence (never with jumping…he’s always been bold to fences) but generally found life a little overwhelming at times. Because of this he has been produced slowly and correctly with a successful future in mind. He has however really matured over the last year and has progressed fantastically…. With this in mind we are really hoping to find him a forever home with a sympathetic and confident rider, he wouldn’t do well with someone nervous as he likes to really put his trust into someone so deserves a rider he can build a bond with and continue to progress. With the right rider he is likely to excel at grassroots eventing but equally has the potentially for much more…he finds BE100 child’s play. He is very bold to jump, doesn’t look at any type of filler or XC fence, he is genuine on any stride and just likes to get to the other side. He is not a sharp or silly horse, he has a wonderful temperament and always aims to please. He is easy to do in all ways, good to hack, clip, box etc and is generally just a bit of gent who loves endless fuss and attention. Simba oozes quality and presence and turns heads where ever he goes, we will be very sad to see him go but we feel he is at a stage where he is ready to move on and find his special person. He has also always been produced by petite females so he is not strong and is a light and responsive ride. Please only enquire if you have a knowledgable, competitive, 5* home on offer.
