Description
15.3hh, 6yo KWPN warmblood mare Fransje(United) x Ferrolan (Olympic Ferro) 3 nice paces and a lovely big canter. Bee has been brought on and produced slowly and correctly enjoying a variety of things such as hacking, pole clinics, lots of clinics, training with Grand Prix rider Abi Lyle, arena hire, beach trip, and has been to a couple of unaffiliated dressage shows. Bee is a talented mare with lots of potential for the advanced work and therefore would love for her to go to a competition home to reach her full potential. She likes to work and tries her hardest to please you, a very cuddly and loveable horse, beautiful to handle and not a typical mare. Bee has wonderful manners and is just a pleasure to be around every day. She is however sensitive and can be hot (never nasty just might jog for a bit when you first get on if she’s fresh/excited) so because of this and due to her age she would not suit a novice rider. Bee would be safe enough for a competent amateur or a competent teen coming off ponies but needs to be a quiet and sensitive rider. She is snaffle mouthed at all times, never strong or silly and nicely off the leg. Flat- Bee is still green however shows great potential and has beautiful paces with a soft mouth and is a nice responsive ride. She has a lot of filling out/strengthening up to do as she develops but has started lateral work, counter canter and is beginning to really balance in the work. Jumping- Has been introduced to jumping only very recently, she is dressage bred but has a great shape over a jump and I feel she would excel in any discipline. She pops any log out hacking boldly too! Hacking- Bee loves to hack, she’s amazing in big open spaces , canters on the buckle in a big field, good alone or in company, front or back. Good with traffic though can get tense/scared with big heavy traffic/ busy roads therefore I would say she’s only suitable for a home away from main roads. Good to handle, shoe, load (sometimes can take a minute or two but it’s never long or a problem she just likes to have a look before going on) , travel, stand on trailer, wash, no sedation for dentist, happy in or out, field alone or with others doesn’t matter if mares or geldings, never clipped but have held clippers to her and was fine with that- she’s not the type of horse to care about things like clipping so I doubt that would be a problem. No vices Bought as unbacked 4yo- passed vetting with full X-rays inc neck and back with flying colours with one remark of a small chip on right hind fetlock- deeply embedded in the tissue so should never move or prevent her from reaching top level sport but is priced to reflect this. never sick or sorry and open to vettings. Reason for sale is that I have my horses at home but bee prefers a busier yard (more than one or two other horses) so is kept at a livery where she is happier and therefore the decision has been made to find her a more suitable home as I want to be able to keep my horses all happily at home. She was never naughty at home but would appear stressed when I would ride one of the other two out and it didn’t feel fair to continue in that environment for her. She is very reasonably priced for the type of horse that she is and her price reflects any above points mentioned so someone can get a fantastic top horse for a very good deal.
