- Description
- Peaches came to us when my son was 7, she has taken him from jumping cross poles to 70cm with confidence. Peaches is a really fun all round pony. We have owned her for 3 years now and she is my sons best friend. In that time they have done all pony club activities, camps, family riding holidays and mini ODE’s. She is the most wonderful child’s best friend, all round fun pony.
She is 100% to clip, catch, shoe, box, hack, dentist, vet, lives in or out with mares or geldings. She is up to date with dentist, vaccinations and chiropractor. She is very easy to keep, has never been sick or sorry and is very low maintenance. She currently has front shoes on as we hack on stony tracks but she was unshod with us for the first 2 years and could easily be again. My children can do everything with her, including catching her, leading her and tacking her up.
Peaches is very well schooled and well bred and would also do well in dressage or showing, however my son has not shown interest in these areas. Although we had her as a second pony she does require a rider who is not phased by some occasional cheeky welsh behaviour, as she can chuck a buck in when excited. She is currently ridden by a confident 10 year old and they have had the best year together.
Peaches is a wonderful hack, she is safe in open spaces, with all traffic and really enjoys hacking. I always know she will look after my son on a hack and give him the best time.
She would also suit a mother daughter share, or would be a wonderful pony for a small adult.
I do credit her with teaching my son to ride. We are still in touch with her previous owner who has owned her since a 2 year old and we would all like to stay in touch.
This is a difficult sale of a much loved pony, 10* home required.
