- Description
- 5yo 15.1hh dun/grey unregistered partbred Connemara gelding - no breeding recorded. A true PC/RC allrounder looking for a best mate!
Texas is a gorgeous boy inside and out. He has a lovely sweet, cuddly, playful nature and just wants to be the centre of your world. He wants to be with you and to be involved in the action, loves to be talked to and faffed with! Very smart model with good limbs. Although he has no recorded breeding you don't need to be an expert to see he is clearly from Connie lines. All the attributes to make a top end PC/RC allrounder.
Obedient and willing in the school with 3 good paces. Texas is well balanced and straight, holds himself in a balanced frame and has recently started working on taking the contact. Forward and responsive ride, understands the leg and tries very hard to please. Ready for a Prelim test.
Texas is very genuine to a fence. He maintains his rhythm in and out and is totally rideable, he doesn't change unless you tell him to. Bold and willing, is schooling round courses confidently and is ready to get out to some training shows. Rhythmical and rideable round a course and good with his feet, doesn't get put off by the odd miss. Texas has also done some cross country schooling including water, ditches and bank being very willing to give anything a go. Will certainly be out eventing this season with the right rider with the potential to make a super amateurs grassroots horse or hunter. Currently in a snaffle for all activities.
Texas is great to hack, he goes on his own or in company and is good on the roads and open spaces. Has not been spooky, silly or strong but he is a bright young horse and not a bicycle. Please no unicorn hunters.
Good to do on the ground, lives in or out. No quirks, vices, hang ups or medical history. A very amenable chap who has had a great start and is now ready for his new teammate to join him on his journey into any area they'd like to try. Texas really is looking to be somebody's favourite. He is suitable for a wide range of low level homes including mother/daughter share, Pony Club, Riding Club, NSEA, happy hacking and grassroots eventing.
