British Riding Pony
Eventing, Pony Club and Dressage
⭐️ BD Home International England 1st Reserve ⭐️ Placed Top 10 in all BD Sheepgate U25 classes ⭐️ Won Individually at Tweseldown PC Grassroots Team Qualifier on dressage of 23 This pony has it all. He is a great all rounder and tries his best in all spheres. With y daughter he has mostly done PC actities and competed unaffiliated ODE and BD affiliated dressage. He's a smart, loving, safe and polite pony who loves his job. Easy to do in all ways. My daughter is currently working at elementary dressage and was aiming to do medium and maybe Individual pony FEI next summer as well as stepping him up to BE 90's next season. However in reality she is just too tall now and we feel he would best suited to taking a new novice rider up through the ranks and teach them all he knows. He will be hugely missed and this is a very sad sale and he will only go to the best home. He’s everyone’s favourite. He’s gentle on the ground and adaptable to his more novice riders although wouldn’t suit a complete beginner. He has a soft mouth and needs someone to ride sensitively but confidently. He won't do anything wrong or naughty if not but we feel he deserves a kind sensitive rider to get the best out of him He’s competition fit and is available mid October at the end of this eventing season. He is a true all rounder so would do a variety of jobs. He has been shown from an early age so knows how to carry himself and behave. He is also very handsome so never fails to turn heads. His main love and talents lie in dressage and XC. He hacks alone or in company. Been on beach rides and sponsored rides, PC Camp, PC teams, BD Youth Teams. He’s a genuinely lovely safe family pony that just happens to have bags of potential if wanted. In two years he’s taken my daughter from being terrified to jump 50 on her safe Welsh C to boldly riding around 85/90 tracks. Just this year he’s been placed in everything he’s done and qualified for all unaffiliated XC Championships. Consistently finishes on a dressage score of 23-30 and more often than not double clear. This season he’s qualified for the following at 80/85: and is easily capable of doing 90/95. ⭐️ Eland Lodge Hunter Trials Champs ⭐️ SEG ODE Championships ⭐️ Cotswold Cup Champs ⭐️ PC Regional Grassroots Eventing Champs finishing 9th individually and 2nd team. ⭐️ Dressage he consistently scores 66-67% at Novice. Has 40+ BD points. He’s working at elementary and some medium movements at home and is ready to start going out at elementary. This year he’s qualified for and/or been to: ⭐️ Pet Plan Area Festivals x2 ⭐️ BD Youth Inter Regionals ⭐️ BD Youth England SE reserve for Home Internationals ⭐️ Sheepgate U25 Champs - easily placed top 10 in all classes, with team 2nd He’s a very smart pony with a level head. He doesn’t need to be worked everyday and would happily be a happy hacker or a competition pony. He will give his all whatever you ask of him. He doesn’t get worked up or excited at big events or shows. He knows his job. He conserves his energy in the warm up and then gives it his all in the arena or on the course. He will happily stand all day on the trailer with haynet and watch the world go by. He is sensible and kind and has bags of untapped potential. He’s a rare sort. A true Mothers Dream. Good to shoe, catch, load, clip, dentist etc. Can be turned out with mares or geldings. He can be a bit tense around strangers initially but once he knows you/them he is fine. He does have some old scarring under his belly from when he had some sarcoids lasered away about 7 years ago with an old owner. These are purely cosmetic blemishes now and have never returned and we have never had a problem. Tack and full wardrobe available if required as part of neg. We just want a 5 star home for this special boy where he will be looked after by a loving committed family. He’s sound, safe and dependable has no vices and is not quirky. He’s straight forward with a soft mouth and a kind eye and ponies like this with talent are few and far between, however price is totally negotiable for the right family so if you think you are that family please get in touch! All sensible 5 fig offers considered.
