Baxter is approx 15.1, 4 year old, heavyweight Irish cob gelding.
Top quality cob that is incredibly hard to find at the moment. Good conformation, good feet and a nice mover. 10 inches of bone, clean limbed and a straight mover.
Goes very sweetly on the flat for his age with 3 nice paces. A forward cob who’s nicely off the leg so wouldn’t suit nervous/novice rider, not naughty or difficult in any way just a cob with a job! Nice and athletic for a cob of his stature and a lovely comfortable ride.
Pops a coloured pole and recently been out XC schooling. Totally unphased by being in a new environment, popped away over some smaller fences/up and down steps/water/ditches with no dramas. Happily stood around while the other horse he was with went off and jumped the bigger stuff.
A very nice cob to hack. Brilliant in traffic, good in company, hacks out happily alone with his ears pricked and thoroughly enjoys it.
Would be a super cob for the novice classes next year or equally would make a really lovely allrounder/riding club type/hunting cob. Sensible sort that takes everything in his stride.
Lovely to handle/wash off/good to shoe/load/travel. Very sweet amenable cob that loves a fuss and is just lovely to have around. Comes in on his own onto the yard to work and doesn’t worry when his mates go out.
5 stage vetted on import, freshly shod.
