- Connemara x ISH 16hh 2018 grey mare You’ll not find an easier, sweeter horse to have fun on. Very well bred mare by Cheeky Bobby Sparrow by the famous Ashfield Bobby Sparrow Connemara stallion out of a Clover Brigade mare. Bought direct from her breeder in Ireland. Been out competing XC, Show Jumping and Dressage. She’s ultra brave and rides likes a seasoned eventer. I genuinely don’t think there is a jump she wouldn’t jump or anything that will make her spook. She’s been stabled away at Glamis horse trials, where she behaved impeccably. Behaves perfectly at shows, good in the collecting ring around other horses. Lovely soft mouth, never pulls, doesn’t need a lot of leg. Beautiful rhythmical canter. Never bucks, rears or naps. If you don’t ride her for a few days, she’s exactly the same when you get in her. Hacks out alone or with others. Been on beach rides where she led the older horses into the water. Loads and travels perfectly. No sarcoids, lumps, bumps or stable vices. She’s a real sweetheart in and out the stable. Sparrow would be perfect for a child coming off of ponies or adult wanting to do all grass roots classes.
