- Holly Berry 13.1 British Riding Pony 15 Years old. Holly is the perfect second pony, an all rounder type who has lived a varied & willing life. She currently enjoys regular fun rides, cross country, hacking, rallies, show jumping & flat work. She has also lived a previous life as a games pony. We consider Holly to be a second pony and perfect for a confident child looking to progress from a first pony. She is forward, kind & honest with great pace. Out hacking, Holly is in her element, is extremely happy to hack alone and in company. Bomb proof in all types of traffic & farm animals. She’s pretty much seen everything and is unshaped with all aspects. In the field she loves a gallop but can be a little fizzy because she wants to go but nothing nasty, just forward and keen. On the ground Holly has great manners, very placid, loves to be groomed and can be handled by kids - there’s not a nasty bone in her body…the type to close her eyes and fall asleep! Great to clip, shoe, catch, load and tack up. She will turn out with mares & geldings and is also suitable in a herd. Up to date with teeth, back & vaccinations. Prone to mild sweet itch during the summer months, which is easily handled by her rug and doesn’t cause her any distress. Holly also has a soft mouth so benefits from a positive rider with soft hands. Sadly outgrown, Holly comes with a full wardrobe & rugs. We’re looking for an equally active home for her to remain in regular work, with a family who wants to have fun.
