- 15.3 13yr old Real Life Black Beauty Hanoverian This stunning horse is extremely versatile and will make someone a top class allrounder. He’s a true gent to handle, great to catch/ clip/ bath/ shoe etc. My son frequently handles him and is a real softie. Comet has lovely flat work, he works in a natural shape and has great rhythm. He has completed prelim/ novice where he has won or been placed everytime. Behaves impeccably out at shows and travels either in a trailer or lorry. Be it Comet prefers his dressage he makes a beautiful shape over a fence, I have jumped him unaffiliated up to 90cm. Loves his cross country and gives 100% what ever is asked of him. Comet hacks alone and in company, brilliant with all traffic and you can ride him off the buckle on all grass tracks. Never gets strong or silly. The type you can leave out in a field for a week get in tack up and take out for hack straight away and doesn’t get fizzy. Would be perfect for someone who wants to go through the levels in dressage as he’ll teach you a lot but equally Comet would be happy as a hacking horse/pleasure ride- I have taken him to many pleasure rides including the beach where he loves to go for a good gallop. Comet is up to date with everything! Comet has a scar on his hind leg pelvic area which he got when he was a foal and doesn’t effect him in the slightest. He can occasionally weave when left on his own but this is managed with a weave gaurd and if he’s attended to first. Once settled and in a routine he does not do it. Based in South Norfolk. Will go with all fitted tack and rugs.
