- Look at him for a bit of WOW factor!! Proudly introducing Rupert! Stunning 5yo, chestnut gelding, fully registered section C with excellent, recorded bloodlines. Bred from the famous ‘Hywi’ welsh lines. Rupert does stand at about 14hh so would be eligible for re registration as a D if owner desired. Rupert is very well put together, a real class and traditional model. Clean / straight limbed. Beautiful head and carries and upstanding presence. The perfect example of what a gentleman is , this horse is the kindest, most respectful and empathetic horse on the yard. He stands for the children to groom him, he’s excellent to bath and shoe , exceptionally kind and loving , I could go on and on about how outstanding this boys temperament is! Rupert has previously been very successfully shown in hand and has been a licensed stallion. He has now been gelded and recently broken to ride. He has taken to riding as if he’s been doing it forever. Stands like a rock to be mounted , has a great mouth, responsive off the leg, loves to hack out , you couldn’t wish for a more willing one than him. Rupert oozes quality in his every step. Shows to have a big, free moving walk. Uphil , head turning trot with great range. Although still very green, he shows be very level headed , with great ride ability. You can just feel the potential underneath you. He is raw at the moment , broken for about 6 weeks, not that you’d think so! Rup loves a hack out. Not the silly or spooky type , hacks past the fields of horses without a bother. Was hacked by an 11 year old this week with no issues. He loves a canter up the field , again proving to be very sensible and reliable. I don’t think I could say enough to do him justice so come and meet him, see for yourself how special he really is.
