We have owned Wispa for about a year, bought from the breeder. She had been backed and used as a lead rein pony.
Since owning Wispa she has progressed tremendously. She is currently ridden at home on our grass gallops, in the paddock and hacking out on the roads. She has attended regular lessons for the last year, been to many arena hires, clinics, cross country hires, been up an all weather gallop and most recently has taken part in some local show jumping competitions. She is fab at everything we have done with her, she is always calm and a pleasure to take out anywhere. Wispa loads and travels well, is good for the farrier (currently barefoot), good for the dentist, brilliant to clip, brilliant in traffic and loves to be pampered. She currently lives with another mare and before this was in a mixed herd.
Although Wispa is only 4, she is an incredibly safe, trustworthy and sensible pony. She is just the right amount of forward around our gallops at home. She is taking to the jumping very well, especially the cross country. She is green in the arena so needs a stronger rider here. She has never bucked, reared or bolted. Wispa is probably a second pony at this moment in time due to being only 4 but we feel with age and experience she will be a true first pony due to her calm character.
Wispa is ridden in a pad saddle as this is what my son prefers, we do have a proper saddle for her but feel the pad fits her best.
We are only selling Wispa as my son just doesn’t have enough interest anymore. She has a fab character and we will be sad to see her go.
