- Geordie, 16.1h, Bay Gelding, 10yo, ISH Geordie is a kind, gentle horse who is a pleasure to have around. He is easy to handle and a quiet horse to have on the yard. He is a competition horse, so can be sensitive and a little sharp, but nothing nasty or dangerous- just excited to do his job! He is looking for someone who wants to go out and about having fun. Before coming over from Ireland in March 2019 he passed a 5 stage vetting. He is low mileage for his age but since being with me from January 2020 he has completed unaffiliated ODEs, showjumping, hunter trials and has attended pony club and fun rides. He thoroughly enjoys cross country and has been schooled up to novice. Showjumping he schools round 90cm-1.05m. Geordie is good and quiet to do in all ways. He loads and travels really well in both a trailer and a lorry. He’s a brave and honest boy who tries his best to please. He is good to hack alone and in company and is very good in traffic. He would suit a confident and competitive adult or teenager coming off ponies who wants to go out and be competitive on the grassroots circuit. He is not a novice ride as he is a sensitive horse who thrives off a balanced rider. He will only be sold to the best home for him as it is an extremely difficult sale.
