- May is a 13.2, 13 year old Welsh Part-Bred riding pony. She is very pretty with a beautiful nature. May is great to handle on the ground, good to shoe, clip, catch and load and has a very sweet personality. To ride, May is safe, but she is fast and is better suited to a competent rider, rather than a novice. May never bucks, rears, spins or naps, and is lovely and responsive. She has a soft mouth and always ridden in a snaffle. She would suit a quiet confident rider to bring out the best in her. May has done a little bit of everything and never says no, she’s very willing and gives things a go. My 11 year old daughter took her to pony club camp where they did showjumping, cross country, dressage and games. She took it all in her stride. May has the potential to be a great games pony. However she does need more time put into her to get the best out of her. She definitely has the speed, she has the turns and her brakes are good too, she just needs a bit more experience with equipment. May would also make a super racing pony! May is good to hack and is fantastic in traffic . Happy to go first or last and is sensible in a group. All in all she is lovely pony that will go far with the right rider and the time put into her.
