- Tentatively seeking a new home for this lovely mare on behalf of a friend. PastaMakesUFaster Pasta (aka P) is an 8 year old, 15.2hh, bay roan mare. P came off the flat circuit in 2018 and has been in the same home since. She was turned away to unwind for a few months and then came back in to work hacking and hunting. In January this year P came to live with me and we have started retraining and furthering her education. She has certainly stolen my heart. She has excelled and proven to be a very willing and trainable mare with great potential! She is coming on exceptionally well on the flat and is proving to be quite the dressage diva. We have competed at prelim level and scored 63% in her first competition and also her first time ever indoors. She’s started working at novice level with good lateral work and showing promise in her counter canter. We have started jumping, she’s bold and forward to a fence but not yet careful at this point in her education. Hacks alone or in company and is bomb proof in traffic. I hunted her for the second half of this season and she was a delight; forward and sure footed. Happy to go be at the front of the field or sit behind. P is not a novice ride as she can be very forward and excitable but always a snaffle mouth. This beautiful mare has bags of potential and is looking for the right person who has the time to find her forte and help her fulfill her potential. P thrives from routine and requires regular work with plenty of turn out time between work. Turns out with mares or geldings. Good to shoe/box/clip and a real easy mare to have around. P would make a lovely mother daughter share, a fun teenagers horse, and a great ROR prospect (is registered). Sad sale through no fault of her own just due to owners work commitments and other horses. Up to date with dentist & vaccinations. 5 star home required.
