- Oliver, 17.3hh, ISH, Grey 10y/o, beautifully bred by Gatsby 🤍 Passed a 5 stage vetting at the end of January 2023. Oliver has competed at elementary level dressage, he would make a beautiful working hunter/show hunter & side saddle. He has previously competed in showjumping and has been hunted in Ireland. Oliver is an absolute gentleman to be ridden and shows a positive and willingness to work. He enjoys having a job to do and I think he would really benefit from someone who wants to spend time with him and wants to take him out and give him a job to do. I genuinely think he just wants to be loved and really enjoys one on one time. Now for the quirks 🦖 Oliver is a big lad, and he knows it, therefore he needs to be led in a bridle or a chiffney. He isn’t nasty, but he will pull away if given the opportunity to in a head collar. Unfortunately this wasn’t disclosed to me when I purchased him at the end of January for my inexperienced partner to handle and he is, therefore, not suitable for us which is very sad for me. I very much want to find Oliver his forever home and I know he will make the right person a fantastic competition horse. I am taking a considerable loss in what I recently paid for him but a home is more important than price.
