Description
Sadly outgrown Beau has been in our family since he was 18months old and is as beautiful inside as he is out. Reg BSPA by Barkaway Overture he is half brother to HOYS champion Diptford Amazing Grace, before I brought him he was professionally produced in hand, qualifying at county level. He is a beautiful mover, would excel in showing or dressage and with his breeding could absolutely go to the top. Sensitive ride, snaffled mouthed & easy off the leg. He is a gentleman and very much in tune to his rider/handler and looking to please. Broken and ridden off lead but his career to date has been on lead rein/ assisted for my novice, nervous sons. His generosity has shone with us in that capacity but he could be a competent rider’s transition to FR as he is obedient and easy to the aids but he would not enjoy a larger unbalanced rider. Beau is quality bred & has always been gently produced he’s not a heavy handed kick along but a true BRP sort and a really responsive ride. Has lived out, mixed turn out, even in the garden but is presently with a mare and stabled at night . Never needed the vet, good with dentist & farrier and always barefoot. Hacks out alone / in company front, middle or back. With us he has done showing, in hand and ridden, pony club, pony camps, western, unaff dressage & showjumping, in hand trec- all of this has been on lead/ assisted. He’s so good with everything re handling on yard and stable, doesn't kick, bite, pull or push. Travels perfectly. We’ve enjoyed Beau as a much loved pet so he hasn’t fulfilled his potential but still always wins a rosette when he competes. Unbearably sad sale, we would really love to see him go to a home who will pursue his breeding’s potential but above all to another loving family who will adore him as much as he’s accustomed to; Beau is unspoiled he has only ever known love, understanding and kindness. He has been unridden for months at a time and it does not affect his behaviour at all because he has a heart of gold. As he has been mostly unused still has lots of miles on the clock so to speak. My children are total novices and not confident but I am experienced and I would want Beau to go to an experienced home, as he gets confidence from his rider/handler- he is not a dobbin he is an unspoiled, quality horse with a good attitude that has a lot more to offer than he's done. With this in mind he is priced to sell, we have no jockey for this coming season and he’s far too good with too much to offer to be a field ornament. He deserves more and has spent enough years being underused. I have a decade worth of photos and videos documenting his life to date happy to send over on request. Comes with extensive wardrobe, will only go to an experienced loving home it is the most important thing to us so open to offers if you are that.
