- Description
- Benhill Nero - A very solid, enthusiastic and smart moving young man, with a passion for life!
Professionally backed in 2021, he was exceptionally straight forward to ride away.
Nero went on to beginning his ridden career very comfortably, after 4 weeks under he saddle he came away from his first dressage competition with 65% and 7th out of 18! Before going onto coming 2nd in combined training having not seen bright show jumps before.
Nero has been cross country schooling, he is very bold and brave over anything he is presented to. Happily venturing into water and through combinations. He has been to various locations for flat work schooling, both on his own and with a buddy, building his confidence has been important due to the nature of the set up I had.
Nero hacks very well in company, he can be a little nervous on his own, but despite this he is happy in open fields, woods, roads, all traffic including heavy farm machinery. He has grown up around all of this.
He truly is a character to have around and is deeply adored by everyone he meets. He carries his love for life daily, which does mean that he is switched on, a little sassy, but from a fairly unconfident rider- I have never felt anything other than fun.
He loves being clipped, happy to be shod (Currently only fronts), loads and travels alone or with company, up to date with jabs and has only had me as his home since a foal.
Although not on a green passport, Nero has some very quality breeding. His dam is Murthwaite Mulan. She is offspring of 'Tebay Campbell Ton Victor, who is out of 'Greenholme Dusty'.
Nero's sire, Benhill Coalman, the offspring of 'Popsters Rheingold'. Is my other horse.
Nero is currently on full livery with a reputable yard in Wiltshire and is available for viewings with prior arrangement.
