Description
***Sold to a lovely new home *** Safe / sane / sensible / schoolmaster comes with absolutely everything a pony could ever wish for. https://vimeo.com/576896802 The time has come for us to sell our wonderful boy Tiger. My daughter has sadly outgrown him and already has her next horse. Tiger needs no introductions in his pony club, he’s the perfect gentleman, been there done it got several t-shirts! And 100’s of Sashes and Rosettes! He is what you call a ‘mothers dream’. Tiger took my then nervous but competent 9 year old daughter eventing at 80cm and securing a place at PC ODE champs. He has also qualified for many British Riding Club championships too, came second in the Keysoe eventing league. Is usually always placed when out! He is safe but he is NOT a kick along, or a first pony, he is sensitive, fun and forward going, he is not brain dead, he will spook at a pigeon in a hedge and he’s very easy off the leg but takes encouragement from his rider so is not suitable for complete novices. At 9years old my daughter was off doing xc galloping across fields etc etc He can do a lovely sub 30 dressage test when given the right aids but if not he can still pull a nice rhythmical test that scores well. He jumps beautifully, and is very careful, rarely knocking a pole, but can turn on the speed and turn on a sixpence when needed. XC is his favorite thing to do and he’s an absolute machine! Water / ditches no bother - See the link for full equireel video of him at Burghley ODE with my daughter when she was just 10yrs old. He will stand on the box, by the box, at the ring side and be no bother at all. He is very used to the competition environment and is always well behaved at pony club events/rallies. Hacking he is super, on his own he does need a little encouragement when leaving the yard if there is no one on foot with him but he never ever says no, in a group great, not silly behind, traffic / tractors don’t phase him one bit. Beach rides just awesome! Totally trustworthy. At home he’s used to a busy environment young children/dogs etc he’s best mates with our spaniel. He is a lovely easy boy to have around. He’s perfect to clip (he prefers a half face cut) bath, shoe, teeth, travel. The only thing he doesn’t really like is a wet sponge near his ears but you can clip them. Up to date with vacs, teeth, back he’s a pampered pony who deserves the best. He has no vices whatsoever - my 6year old son can hack him out. He is the perfect balance of fun but sensible and trustworthy for someone who can ride properly moving off smaller ponies. He needs to go and teach another little child everything he knows. He is fit and ready to go he will be going round burghley hunter trial on 26th March so won’t be going until after that event. Extremely sad sale my daughter won’t let him go to the wrong home, she’s desperate to keep him and is still riding and competing him so we are in no rush to sell to just anyone, we know and have kept in contact with all of his previous owners - it must be the perfect home for this special boy and we’d love to keep in touch and get updates on how he is doing. He comes with a JW saddle (recently checked) two bridles dressage/jumping and rugs galore! Serious enquiries only!
