Description: Zaky Looking for a stunning bay gelding with a great presence in the show ring? Look no further than Chasecroft Zodiac, also known as Zaky! Zaky is a 12.2hh 2007 gelding with a full history known to his current owner of 2 years. While he is currently being used as a field ornament, Zaky thrives off routine and work and is looking for a job to keep him busy. Zaky would excel in in-hand showing or ridden showing with the right confident rider, although he is not suitable for a first ridden. He is beautiful, shows off, and has great presence in the show ring. In addition to his impressive show skills, Zaky is also easy to handle. He is good to catch, load, and for the farrier and vets. While he does wind suck when eating, he respects cribbox and currently has a post in the field specifically for it to reduce stress. Zaky is currently living out and can be turned out with mares or geldings. He has a history of ulcers but this has been treated. With the current owner he has shown signs of laminitis (a thick neck and warm hooves) and has been managed accordingly and immediately so this did not escalate. Zaky has also had his SI and hocks treated last year with a non-steroidal alternative. He was given the all-clear from the vets in January, but he is currently without a rider or space to bring him back into work. Zaky is priced with the above considerations in mind and is also priced for a quick sale.
