Description: Fairley Angelina 13hh 9 year old Chestnut Registered Welsh Part-Bred Mare Dakota is a fun, forward pony club pony looking for a new home. She is well schooled on the flat with a soft mouth and 3 nice paces. She is well bred and a nicely put together pony that could also go on to do some show pony classes. Dakota has done all pony club activities including mounted games rallies. She is snaffle mouthed and will do a lovely dressage test. At her most recent show she qualified for Bicton Mini Champs in the 50cm, coming 2nd out of 30 ponies, although she has jumped courses of 85/90 at home and 70 at shows, so she would jump bigger with the right jockey. She is happy with water, steps, and ditches out across country. She is safe in open spaces although can be speedy! Dakota hacks alone and in company and is great in traffic including farm traffic. On the floor she is lovely to handle, she loves to be groomed. She is good to shoe, catch, clip and load into a trailer and lorry. She is happy to stand on the lorry at a show without any problems. Although Dakota was a first pony for an 8 year old boy (now 10), she needs a confident jockey as she is forward going. She also needs a parent willing to pop her on the lunge before child gets on if she has a week off, she is great in consistent work but can get a bit hot when left! Loads of videos available.
