Description: Meet Clover, the impressive 17:2hh Irish Sports Horse with a distinguished pedigree from Clover Hill and King of Diamonds. He has been slowly trained since he was a leggy and clumsy three-year-old. He is now a safe and sane riding horse who has been hacking out alone and in company through fields and local woods. Clover is simple and straightforward to ride, but his size and age mean he requires firm handling. He is happy to live out or come in at night in winter, and he is a good doer. Although he has not yet shown much interest in jumping, we believe he has the potential to be an eventer with a good competition future. Ideally Clover needs to be at a professional yard where they understand the needs and discipline required for young horses. We think the perfect home for him would be as a gentlemen's hunter, as he has a big stride that covers ground. We are searching for a loving and knowledgeable new owner who can provide Clover with the discipline and training he needs to fulfil his potential.
