- So the story with Wilbur is …. I bought him summer 2020 for my kids to ride and have some fun on at the yard during covid lockdown. He then found a new 🏡 with a lovely family who had him for about 18 months as a first ridden. When their daughter grew out of him I bought him back as we loved the pony. He then went to a new 🏡 as a first ridden where he did not suit so is back looking for a child to have some fun with. Annoyingly they also must of had him on a strict diet/ bare minimal forage (no idea why as never had laminitis) so doesn’t look anywhere near as beautiful as he does in this video. I’ve put some up to date pics on so you can see current weight. He’s already put on a fair bit of weight so with some summer grass & love he’s sure to look sexy again in no time. My kids / step kids get straight on him and walk / trot / canter in the arena. He goes on and off the lead rein. Has done loads of little jumps on lead rein but not much off so I’m not ⛵️ as a jumping pony. He loves hacking and is great to lead off a horse. He will canter up along side your horse out hacking. He’s previously done pony club / pony camp in his old 🏡 This is a video of my son riding him when he was 8 years old when we had him over lockdown I’m not looking for a first ridden / 100% safe pony / Bombproof pony 🏡 for him as to be quite honest I can’t be doing with the mither. All ponies halo’s slip occasionally and it’s good for children to realise ponies aren’t robots and can be cheeky sometimes! He’s been a star with us and the kids do everything with him from tacking him up to washing him off.
