Otis has been with me since a 4 year old. He has competed successfully for 5 seasons as a Small Show Hunter. The two years we campaigned him the Royal International Horse Show he qualified first time out. He is an absolute pro on in the show ring and always gives the judge a foot perfect ride. Otis would excel in any sphere as he loves to jump and has the paces to be an incredible dressage horse. I have jumped him up to 1.20m and free schooled him over 1.40m which he makes nothing of. He is by the infamous stallion, Chaos. He is life highted at 155cm but rides a lot bigger. I’m 6’3 and I don’t look ridiculously big on him. I know everyone says this but this is genuinely one of the hardest sales I’ve ever had to make as he is my best friend and has more character than any other horse I have ever met. He is only for sale because I am way over stocked with show horses that are owned by clients so I am having to reduce the number of horses that I personally own. Otis was bred by a good friend of mine so I know his full history and he will only be sold to the absolute best home. Ideally to someone who will keep him forever. He is not a first horse as he has his quirks but he doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. His quirks are that he will jog to the field but that is all he will do. It’s more irritating than anything. He would never bolt, reir or do anything unruly. He is also a bit of a fidgit to get on because he loves his job but the simple solution is to give him a treat just as you’re about to get on and he stands like a statue then. He would hunt all day long and would give someone a lifetime of fun. He can be tried at my home in Hertfordshire where we have excellent facilities and thousands of acres of off road hacking. Please contact me with any more questions.
