- The firm yard favourite…. Introducing Finn! Finn is a full up 14.2hh, 13 year old, registered Connemara gelding. Finn is clean limbed, very classy model. A real head turner!! No health issues nor vices. Finn is an absolute gentleman on the ground. A kind and sensitive soul, just wanting any love and affection he can get. Finn is super easy to handle, trust worthy around the children, just a genuine pleasure to own. Finn works beautifully on the flat. Very well established , walk to canter, very easy up and down the transitions , easy on the hand , responsive ride yet not sharp , strong, or overly forward. Extremely polite and always looking after whoever is on board. Finn absolutely loves to jump! Always being very straightforward and genuine. Finn has previously been on livery at a local completion venue, that it also a riding school , for several years. He has been jumped up to a metre there with various children on board. Finn has also produced some beautiful dressage tests! At an unaffiliated/ local level , always scoring well. Finn will hack out alone and in company. For a horse that hasn’t done an awful lot of this I find him to be extremely level headed and safe. Finn is always very polite in open spaces and really enjoys working in the field. In general he carries great mannerisms. Finn had also previously hunted and done some M&M classes successfully. Our purchase of Finn was under extremely sad circumstances and the old owner is more than happy to give Finn a glowing reference and would happily stay in contact. Finn has been a very well loved member of the family and we can certainly understand why!! Finn will make the ultimate riding club horse / mother - daughter share type. Only loving homes with lots to offer should enquire on him. He is open to any inspection.
