- Top class very well bred 5yr connemara by Woodfield Sammy (Grade A jumping stallion) In the right hands this pony will have a very bright future and has all the attributes to be a top class event pony. He moves straight and correct, has well established paces with good natural balanced, brave to a fence, honest and agile. Sammy has been carefully produced with eventing in mind, he has had a very successful season this year not having one XC fault or time faults the whole season - he just gets better and better.. ✔️ good stable manners ✔️No stable vices ✔️loving kind nature ✔️travels in a trailer or lorry ✔️brave XC - water, ditches, tyres, hedges, trakenhers, skinnys, drops, steps etc... ✔️ good % dressage ✔️ Has done SJ, hunter trials, pleasure rides ✔️Good with the farrier - currently barefoot - N/N HWSD - good strong feet ✔️Good in traffic - has seen most things ✔️Good to clip ✔️Good to catch He has been competing at 70cm most of the season, stepping up to 80cm for his final few events which he's has completed easily with scoped to burn.... His last event was the 80cm championship course at Calmsden which was up to height, long and technical, he went clear and inside the time - over the season he has qualified for the Cotswold cup 70 champs (finishing 8th) and the British Connemara Pony Society 70 Champs (finishing 2nd). He can easily step up the grades but due to his age we have produced him carefully knowing he has the talented and haven't rushed him. We would like him to go to a competitive home who will carry on producing him, I can't stress enough how this pony just aims to please and when he does XC you can see what a class pony he is... No novices please - due to wanting him to do what he loves and his talent not wasted.. He is very special and won't be going to just anyone, if not sold we will keep him for next season...
