He has a brain and attitude beyond his years and has proved to be an asset in all ways. Bear is an approx 16.2hh 5yr old bay irish sports horse gelding by the sire Kec Maximum Joe and the dam Brandonview Vanbeek. A stunning type,beautifully conformed with clean legs and good feet, a type extremely hard to find who can excel in all spheres and turn his hoof to everything and anything. Really has the ‘wow’ factor, built uphill with stunning looks and paces! Has all the looks of a flashy competition horse teamed with the most amazing brain and genuine nature making him ideal for an amateur who wants a very smart looking horse without the quirks and hassles of a highly strung competition horse. Three extremely smart flashy paces, arm chair ride with the most fabulous balanced canter. Lovely and light in the hand and works well from the leg aids without being sharp. Won his last dressage test with 70% scoring 8’s for his paces and high praise from the judges about his type and ability. A huge BD prospect who could very easily move up to the higher levels but equally will be an asset in the dressage phase in the eventing. A straightforward and talented jumper, a real trier with a huge heart always looking to help out rather than for a way out! Jumping double clears easily at 90/1m showjumping with a super technique and lots of ability, jumping bigger tracks at home with lots more scope in the tank but has been correctly produced and not over jumper which has left him with the positive willing attitude he’s got today! Extremely brave and bold xc, very genuine always try’s to please, no issues with steps, ditches, water and combinations. Showing no lack of talent over bigger fences and is ready for the coming season. A huge grassroots prospect with the ability to go novice and beyond if his rider wishes as his eduction continues. He’s totally unspoilt in all ways with all the ability and genuine attitude without being pushed to soon! Lightly hunted with both the Readyfield blood hounds and the Rockwood harriers, totally unphased by the huge crowds and busy atmospheres at Boxing Day and New Year’s Day meets. Will go at the front or the back, isn’t stressed by other horses galloping past and will happily go off alone. Great with hounds and other horses and has picked up a few loose horses without any fuss. Has jumped hedge, rail and wall country very reliably and has proved to be a careful honest jumper in all situations. A saint to hack alone and in company, great in all traffic. Really enjoys his hacking and is the type who walks out of the yard with his ears pricked and wants to please. Loves the beach and totally unphased by big open spaces. Snaffle mouth in all three disciplines and doesn’t need daily work to keep him sane. Great stable manners, no vices, lives in or out, good to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip and catch. Has been ridden by everyone on the yard who have all loved him. Ideal for an amateur who wants a quality very special horse to event/dressage/sj or just put a smile on your face!
