- Dartmoor x 12hh 17y old. This pony is the most perfect lead rein pony. He will follow you around like a large dog. We have own him for the past 7 years. Where he has taken my daughter from being the most perfect lead rein all the way up to pony club. He will do absolutely anything on the lead rein can be handled by small children. led about, fussed, dressed up. you name it he’s done it. He has been my daughter 1st ridden. He has been to pony club rally’s, camp, fun rides, local shows. He is a fab little hacking pony as nothing fazes him. Bomb proof in traffic, one pace cantering up fields with or with company. He really looks after his little jockey. He can have weeks off and you can climb on bare back and take him for a canter. He has also hunted in his previous home. He is more of a second ridden In the school as he can be lazy off the lead rein. in his efforts to get out of doing any hard work he can do small bucks(more of kick a back leg out) this has only ever been in the school and doesn’t unseat my daughter. With a big kick and growl he soon moves on, this is when being asked to go forward off the leg. This is only ever off lead rein. (I have a video of this to show how half hearted this is) He has been an incredible little pony for my daughter and is now getting hopelessly out grown and ridden. He is fine to be left on his own when taking other horses away. And respects electric fencing. I have 100 of pictures and videos on request. This is such a sad sale. he really is one in a million family pony. Up to date with teeth vaccination, farrier. Tack and rugs available.
