- 🦄 15.2hh 2008 mare. 🦄 Was purchased originally back in lockdown for one of my super tall 10/11 year old girls to move her off her first pony. This mare was the ultimate step up. What the kid lacked in experience and style she made up in just being oblivious and going with the flow. The mare ALWAYS looked after her bringing her through the finish. Regularly jumped BS taking her upto 1.05m, XC, hacking on the Quantocks. Solely done by a child but a child based with me. Was sold 2 years ago to do a similar job for a super nervous teenager. Has done the job well however at times has whacked in the odd buck/ excitement movement- she would of not been in the best of routines being picked up and dropped and teenagers nerves would of constantly got the better of her. Also advise her not going hunting as this blew her brain. Came back last weekend, straight to a show and double clear with the original jockey who’s now 13. Back to a show today (15/4/23) double clear on the 90cms and unlucky pole in the 1m. In horrendous weather this week she hacked around the block solo with a 13 year old. To the correct home she is the ultimate schoolmistress/ unicorn. Doesn’t necessarily need a decent jockey but a jockey that wants to get on with the job in hand. The mare loves a job.
