- Safe as they come. Economical with her effort. Amazing happy hacker who looks after her rider. Great to load, travel, clip, farrier & catch. Barefoot. As bombproof as you can get in traffic . Will hack alone or in company. First or last. If her rider has an unexpected dismount, she will stand whilst they clamber back on. She has attended clinics, X Country, le TREC, forest hacks, jumping arena hire. Completed some lovely dressage tests. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations & back. She is a grumpy mare and will pull a face in her stable or if you are late with her hay! Same home for 4 years. Thousands of photos and videos. Reason for sale is daughter moving onto horses and wanting to do more jumping. Duchess sold on her first viewing but unfortunately failed her vetting on her off hind after flexion test. She has been looked at by our vets and showed some inflammation on her suspensory. She has been treated and rested for 6 weeks. She is now much better but still very slightly off on a hard surface on tight lunge. Now not really being ridden much as daughter has moved onto her next steed. Vet happy to give prospective home further information/summary if needed . All of this has been reflected in her price, but home more important. The best hacking home wanted for this much loved pony. Would love to keep in contact with new owner.
