"Troy" - PRE stallion (although calmer and easier with mares and geldings than any gelding I've met, turns out in a group with geldings with in season mares either side and has never so much as sniffed at them. Could be gelded if required but I have not seen the need). 10 years old, very dark bay (appears black), 15.2hh. Fabulous little horse with a fantastic jump and plenty of scope, and fabulous paces for dressage. 100% safe to hack alone or in any company, on main roads, bridlepaths, through woods and open fields. Always snaffle mouthed even cantering in company. I've ridden him in gale force winds, hail, snow and he's never spooky or silly just tries his best to get it right and please his rider. I adore this horse, and he is only available because I have a large, unexpected vets bill to pay for my other horse (henceforth known as sicknote). Extremely sad sale of a truly lovely horse. He tries his heart out to please, always. I can hack him alone or in company, first or last, with mares, geldings or other stallions; he's been out to dressage competitions and I've actually had people tell me I should only have stallion discs on an actual stallion, and be shocked when I say that he is! He is a super genuine horse who wants a best friend in life. He would be just as happy as a very classy hacking horse as he would stepping it up to compete, either dressage or jumping. I don't jump at all so he's very green at this (he only jumps when I can borrow friends haha) but has talen to it really well; he pops logs in the woods nicely and isn't phased by anything. I've dressed up in concours outfits and he's just said "OK Mum" and not batted an ear. A truly fantastic chap who deserves the best of homes.
