- 🦄🦄One In A Million Amateurs Dream🦄🦄 Beautiful 16h 5yo ISH mare. By the very popular event sire OBOS Quality out of a Ghareeb mare. All breeding recorded. OBOS Quality is British Eventings leading sire of event horses! I bought Amira last September as a 4yo from Ireland, with the view to producing her to take her up the levels in eventing. I have been steadily and slowly working with her since purchase, having had plenty of downtime over winter to grow and mature. She is scopey, brave, and very talented. She has a fantastic work ethic and wants to please in everything she does. She is working very nicely on the flat. She now understands lateral work and changes. She is nicely forward and off the leg and is ridden in a snaffle for all 3 phases. She can already produce a very smart test. She loves her showjumping and could easily pure showjump to a high level as well as event. She has now been to a couple of show jumping shows producing beautiful clear rounds around 90cm tracks with masses of scope and talent to go on. She takes you nicely to a fence and is scopey and careful when she gets there. I have now started her eventing career off this season in a couple of steady 90 runs. She has taken everything in her stride, trying her little heart out for me. She has been to do the practice event at Helen Bells in February and has now been to Epworth at the beginning of April. Both in the 90cm class producing beautiful double clears. In the Brigante Cup Qualifer at Epworth, she produced a 30dr and effortless double clear, only been kept off the top spot by time faults xc from running her steady. Having produced her slowly and correctly and giving her the time she needs to understand every question asked of her, she has never had a run out or stop to date, which is also a testament to her willing and genuine attitude. She will be an extremely competitive horse for someone, as she is very talented in all 3 phases. She would be perfect for an amateur / junior wanting to produce a lovely talented horse up the levels. She is fit and ready to go and would be perfect for some 5yo BYEH classes this summer. She hacks out brilliantly both alone and in company and is bombproof in traffic! She isn’t at all nappy or clingy. I live on a busy country road, so she is used to tractors, wagons and fast moving vehicles. She loads straight on the wagon and is used to standing on her own, as I usually take two to a show. She isn’t marish and happily lives in or out with mares or geldings and has no stable vices. She is currently on a small yard with just one other gelding and they are out during the day and in on a night. She is good to clip and brilliant for the farrier and recently stood perfectly for the dentist. She is up to date with her vaccinations. Open to vet. She has an old small cosmetic scar on her back leg which is of no significance, other than that she is blemish and vice free. I was planning on keeping her for myself to compete, however, my event season has been curtailed due to an unexpected pregnancy, so she is now on the market to find a new home where she can be enjoyed.
