- All-Rounder and Eventing
- Bally is a 16.3hh just turned 9yo German Warmblood gelding out of Berlin who is well put together with nice movement.
He is a kind, genuine boy who loves a fuss and is well mannered to handle. Good to clip, shoe, load (I happily take him out on my own) etc. He does however thrive off a routine and would be better suited to a yard where he can fit into the same routine as all other horses, he can occasionally be quirky to catch if all his friends are still out. Workload can be picked up and dropped and he doesn’t change.
He had a successful full season of unaffiliated eventing last year qualifying for the Cotswold Cup championships at 80cm.
He requires a confident, sympathetic rider to bring out the best in him as he can be very sharp. He’s a sensitive lad that really looks to his rider to give him confidence, therefore absolutely not a novice ride. Will hack alone and in company but can be quirky alone.
He’s a super boy that would be suited to a confident, capable rider looking for a nice stamp of horse without the big price tag. Finding the right home is top priority therefore price negotiable.
Same home since a 4yo.
A few of his “sharp moments” have been added to the end of his video.
Plenty of other videos available on my YouTube channel.
