- This is a heartbreaking sale of a much loved pony so please no time wasters Megan is a perfect LR/ second pony - On the lead rein she will follow you around perfectly- we went from her not wanting to leave my side to me running around courses of jumps at shows with her trotting in behind to eventually going independently with my daughter. She always places at shows and is such a beautiful mover. My daughter (6) has been out hacking, in the school, unaffiliated showjumping and at pony camp where they did working hunter as well as cross country for the first time together all off lead rein and Megan looked after my daughter so well, even in the open fields. She has spent some time at my friend’s riding school and never put a foot wrong. She loves being made a fuss of and is very safe for kids to groom, pick feet etc. Megan really takes confidence from the leader on the ground or from other ponies/horses being around her. Off of the LR she needs a confident rider who she can relax with. Megan has a great jump but again at times, needs a bigger rider to push her on, my daughters legs are barely below the saddle. She will go up and down the gears depending on who is riding her. When being lunged Megan will stop by hand commands which was really useful for my daughter when she was getting practicing her canter work. My daughter now works away on Megan off of the lead rein, jumping up to 70cm (the pony can jump bigger) Megan would be a fabulous pony club or games pony. On the ground Megan is kind and well mannered and is completely handled by my daughter. No known health issues, good to catch, with farrier, dentist, bath and load. Up to date with all vaccinations/wormer. She comes with green passport. I have videos of teenagers on her jumping bigger too but can only upload 3 on this. Will happily send on more to those who are interested.
