- 11.2 first ridden Dartmoor gelding 15 years old. Has taught my two boys to ride. One of whom was very nervous and not keen to ride who now enjoys riding and is confident. Enjoys doing small courses of jumps and small xc courses. Done many mini camps, shows, mini rally’s. Amazing hunting pony with a older child - jumps huge jumps out hunting. Un flappable with fancy dress and 100% to hack with the smallest of children. Doesn’t over jump jumps so easy for a small child to potter around a course of jumps with washing line reins. Doesn’t flap in any traffic/ big vehicles. Not spooky. Does come with quirks- can nip, not nasty with it but very food orientated, a figit with the farrier and to pick our feet, needs pushing into a trailer but has never kicked. Has bucked, not a regular habit but happiest being a first ridden, doing small jumps, and not pushed beyond his limits. Experienced home only because of the manageable quirks. £4500 inc tack. Please no time wasters as this is an incredibly hard sale. References required and must want to stay in touch with current and previous owners. 100s of videos available of this amazing little pony who has been with us for four years and now we need to reluctantly move onto bigger things.
