- Tentatively looking for a special home. Foxy substantial 12.2 14yr old mare. Foxy as most know has taken Lillie (a very nervous and over thinking rider) from never jumping a course, to having 3 fantastic rounds at the trailblazers championship finals in 6 months! The criteria when i bought Foxy was ‘ something that will take my daughter through the start and out of the finish safely round Xpoles to 50cm’ shes exceeded every expectation, too fast unfortunately. Shes jumped at all major venues in the notthwest and Cheshire, behaved perfectly at home and at the shows. Can be handled safely by the kids, to catch in turn out, load. She really is beautiful. Brilliant to hack, and carries lillie round somerford farm ride regularly, thru rivers, XC she loves, she really excells here, or would be a fabulous tiny tots whp. Foxy is strong, never running away but always in her tack, so bear this in mind. Having said this she works some weekends with the tiny tots on the lead rein very happily on our riding school between competitions. I have contact with all her previous owners, she was a fabulous pony on the hunt field for a few seasons. I feel foxys best home would be as a PC/RC allrounder, fun long term friend. She is not a top track BS pony, she is a fun versatile allrounder. Kind in the stable and to handle. She is only for sale as lillie wants to persue Show Jumping, as a family this is where most of the opportunities to progress lie. This pony deserves the world heart breaking sale. This is a very hard sale, and to be honest i might do a 180 and change my mind and let her stay for winter, shes just a little bit too much for my 6yr old in strength yet or she would be staying.
