- I have come to the difficult decision to sell Steve as I am currently completing my last year of A-levels with hopes to be going to uni this September. I know I will not be able to give Steve the time and attention he deserves. This is a very sad sale so please no time wasters. Steve is 16’1 hands, born in 2012. He is a brilliant all rounder and loves to jump! He schools nicely and is always trying his best. Produces a lovely prelim and novice test, when competing scores above 60%. He absolutely loves to jump especially XC. When showjumping he never phased by anything including fillers. Rarely knocks or stops as long as he provided with a confident rider. When competing he jumps a lovely 90 round, however is very capable of bigger. Again with XC he thoroughly enjoys, never phased or scared. He has competed at 90 and with past owners has competed in BE90, unfortunately I have not been able to event due to covid and my commitments with school, however he will be ready to be taken out and compete this spring. He has always been well behaved and has previously been rode by children and inexperienced riders. He is happy to hack out alone and in company and is good in open spaces and the beach, he loves a gallop! Happy to shoe and load etc. Steve does have a roached back however has NEVER been a problem. I’ve owned him for just over 4 years and he’s been a star, in hand has never put a food wrong and would trust anyone experienced or not to bring in and out of the field.
