- On behalf of a client: 12hh, 4yo, reg Welsh Section A gelding. LR / FR / WH / Pony club allrounder / Childs hunting pony / Driving pony. (He long reins very well and his unflappable nature would make him a fantastic driving pony - yet to be broken to harness but can easily be arranged). Blue is an exceptional stamp - clean limbed with expressive paces, straight mover - would excel in the show/Dressage ring. Sensible enough to be a very competitive FR/ LR prospect. Proven with young children. Good to catch, lead, groom, bath, clip, for dentist, for farrier, for vet. Loads/travels well. Blue is working well on the flat in all 3 paces, he has a forward nature and equally very responsive to seat/rein when asked to slow. He would suit a smaller jockey that doesn't want a kick-along. His flatwork is really starting to take shape as he develops more of a connection with the bridle, he has a good natural self-carriage. He is showing a fantastic attitude and technique when loose jumping - he's just started jumping under saddle and is proving very capable. Not yet schooled over courses but his honest attitude would make for an exceptional show jumping/workers pony. Blue is impeccable to hack, both on the road and in open spaces alone/in company. Good with traffic, not phased by farm machinery. Will go in front or behind. He rides far more mature than his years would suggest. Blue is the easiest pony to hack solo, no reluctance to leave the yard by himself - he really does look after you. Blue has been shown in-hand as a 2yo and proven calm in show environments. He has also been ridden at training shows and is familiar with busy warm ups. Blue is very affectionate and loves people, he is cheeky and inquisitive but completely adorable with it. Good to load (only currently trailer proven, I feel he would go in a lorry with minimal encouragement) good to bath, good to mount, loves being groomed and fussed, good to lead, tack up, for dentist/farrier/vet. Good to do in every way, no vices. Lives in/out.
