- 🌟⭐️👑Tommy Shelby👑⭐️🌟 Seriously Talented ‘One In A Million’ Little Horse! Approx 15.1h 5yo Full Connemara Gelding by Dunlewey Goshawk out of a Thunder Bay mare. Tommy was purchased by myself in December, prior to which he had already been backed and confidently hacking around the farm where he resided. Since I purchased him, he has excelled all my expectations and more. He really is a one in a million little horse! He has been produced with eventing in mind and has taken to everything like a duck to water. He has never once questioned, or said no, to anything asked of him and has a fantastic brain and ‘can do’ attitude. He is like a little Ferrari to ride, he feels so athletic and balanced for his age. He is off the aids, without been sharp or silly, with a beautiful snaffle mouth. He just effortlessly floats around the arena and turns head wherever he goes! This little horse has endless amounts of scope and talent and absolutely loves to jump, with a fantastic technique and back end. He was easily and confidently coming down to 1.10 the other day without batting an eyelid! Jumps anything and everything asked of him. Happy to jump bright colours, ditches, skinnies and into water! He has been out on the wagon plenty to various different arenas, xc training at somerford and to a little dressage show. He has that look at me factor wherever he goes, with lots of presence and elegance, and feels seriously special and talented to ride. He is the amateurs dream event horse! Either a grassroots superstar or would easily get upto Novice / 2 star if required. He’s quickthinking, nimble and agile and will be seriously competitive as he moves beautifully on the flat aswell as having talent for the jumping phases. Tommy is fantastic to hack. You can put your Granny on him and go off hacking everywhere and anywhere. He is brilliant in traffic and is already used as a nanny horse for others that aren’t as confident on the roads. He’s been past everything and anything. He happily hacks on his own or with others. He has been to the beach and absolutely loved it. Happily went in the sea and cantered along the beach with his friends! You can even film your friends whilst cantering along! Lol He is a very friendly, approachable, confident young horse. Always first to come have a nosey at what you're doing. He happily lives in or out with mares or geldings. Absolutely no stable vices. He is friendly with other horses. You can leave him on the yard or field on his own. He isn’t clingy or nappy. He is currently on a small yard with two others so often is left on his own and is used to horses coming and going. He loads and travels well on the wagon. He also happily stands on the wagon at a show or at training whilst I ride another. This little horse has never put a foot wrong since I bought him in December and is absolutely adored! If I could afford to keep him to event for myself I would, as he has so much to give and more! Up to date with everything, fit and ready to go! He is now ready to get on with his competitive career. He is currently being prepared and entered for his first ODE at Epworth on 2nd April. I’m happy to keep producing him and take him if required, or he can be sold beforehand as the entry can be swapped for another horse. This is a little powerhouse of a horse that has had the perfect start to his education, getting better and better and feeling more talented every ride.
