- Description
- Bally is 13 years old and we have had her in our family for 6 years. In that time she has done everything including hunting, pony club rallies, fun rides and competitions.
She was selected for Pony Club areas last year in Show Jumping and Dressage. She has a super jump and loves xc, doing water and ditches etc without a second glance. She is currently jumping at around 80/90cm but easily clears 1.10. She is scopey and forward to a fence, and will help her rider out with striding. She comes home with rosettes but has low mileage. Bally has a lot of potential to be a smart, fun and exciting competition pony - the talent, personality and looks are all there, and she will go far with her next rider!
Always in a snaffle, extremely well behaved, can sometimes be more kick than go. She has a great character and isn't mareish. Never grumpy or nappy, and wants to please the rider. Has been to PC camp multiple times and is very energetic and ready for the fun.
She happily hacks out alone, or in company. She'll occasionally have a look at a plastic bag but never does anything nasty. She has been taken to our 'valley hack' with an 11 year old rider and she behaves perfectly in open spaces, will jump any logs/ rails, giving lots of fun but always stopping when she's asked.
Has been ridden by an 11 year old, and now 15 year old.
She's also a proven broodmare and foaled by herself!
Good to travel, clip, shoe etc, sometimes will need a bridle to load although wil never do anything nasty.
She is up to date with farrier, vaccines, dentist and worming.
She is very easy to do, and can be managed easily by a child. Is used to children, dogs, vehicles etc. Very sad sale of a super easy and genuine pony with lots of talent to have a lot of fun with! We're only selling because her rider is now on horses.
