- Full up 14.2hh dapple grey, 6 year old Connemara pony with good breeding and fully registered. JJ, was purchased by us end of 2020 and has been with us ever since. However after producing him from scratch and turning him into the kind and honest pony he is we have decided it is time for him to move on from us to bigger and better things! An absolute diamond is an understatement. This pony is a complete saint and has even taught the novices to ride. Schools beautifully on the flat in all three paces - walk, trot and canter however is still green so would need to be continued to be brought on as he is still young and learning. Adores his jumping (has never stopped or dropped a shoulder), hacks out alone or in company and has been out on the busiest of roads with buses and lorries etc. Easy to do in all ways - Bath, clip, groom, feet, teeth, box, injections etc. Turns out in company or alone. Can be left for weeks without being ridden and easy to get on afterwards. Happy to stand in stable if weather bad. He’s been out to various places to course hire over show jumps and cross country fences. He proves very honest to a fence and will go through water! He competed last year at low level working hunter with spooky fences such as water trays and pallets which he is not fazed by whatsoever achieving a 3rd out of a class of over 10. Performed a foot perfect show. At home he is jumping around 70cm - 80cm however has the potential and scope to jump much bigger tracks. He truly is one of the best, most straightforward ponies I’ve ever produced and has a lot of potential to make a decent all rounder for a mother daughter share. All up to date with teeth, jabs, feet etc .. Only looking for 10* 🏡 and if that’s not found he will be staying with us. The longer he is with us the more his £ will increase.
