- Pride reduced as quick sale needed. Bibi is an exceptionally cute but cheeky little mare! Taken off Dartmoor and broken in as a 7 year old, she is still early in her education and would do best in an experienced home where someone is prepared to give her the time and attention she deserves. She is a lovely family pony/pet! She would be great in an experienced family with young children to ride on the lead, with older child/lightweight adults to bomb around the countryside on her! In the 18 months we've had her, she has done loads! Pony club rallies and pc camp (mainly on the lead but some off the lead), schooling, hacking and generally having fun with my then 8/9 year old daughter. She has also been ridden by younger children on the lead and older children/adults off the lead - hacks, run rides etc. She has a cracking jump on her and pops fences in the field/school but hasn't ever competed. She's barefoot and lives on air so is VERY easy to keep! She can carry up to 8.5/9 stone no problem. She is however green and cheeky - over the past few months my now 10 year old has progressed to riding her fully off the lead and she has been going really well, but she does need a confident rider and is NOT a first pony off the lead. Due to being broken in late, she's more like a 5 year old than a 9 year old so just needs someone who knows what they are doing so she can meet her full, amazing potential. She can put in the odd playful (small) bunny-hop when cantering in open spaces and can try to take an inexperienced rider back to the gate given half a chance, but doesn't even bother trying these things with someone who can boss her about! She is an absolute delight to own and brightens up your day! If we had the space to keep her as an overgrown dog we would, but sadly my daughter needs something bigger. We have hundreds of photos and videos of her doing all sorts of activities over the 18 months we've owned her for. Will only sell to the right home, as we are extremely fond of her and she deserves the best! Offers around £1000
