- A stunning 18h 9 year old Belgian warmblood gelding by Dieu Merci Van T&L who is by Toulon. His pedigree is filled with top class showjumpers. The sire, Dieu Merci, was based with Eric Lamaze until his recent retirement and is successfully jumping 1.60s. Vega as he is known to us, has all the movement, natural lift and balance to make a top class horse in any sphere. He has been slowly and carefully produced by an amateur, in the same home since he was a 3 year old. He has been given time to mature due to his size and has never been over jumped or worked. BS up to 1.10 with tonnes of scope to go further. His record is a bit patchy but that is mainly due to his riders horrendous strides!! Evented up to 100, proving to be very bold and extremely competitive. His huge stride eats up the ground. Would make an excellent hunter but I haven’t had the chance to take him. Competed up to Novice level dressage. Established lateral work with a canter to die for! He is a real head turner of a horse, who loves to work and learn new things and has a lovely personality. Extremely sad sale but I have another young horse to bring on. Competition home wanted for this horse who has a bright future ahead of him. No novices! Would suit professional or competitive amateur to go out and hit the ground running on. Fit and ready to go. He does have two old scars on his hind legs but these do not affect him in any way.
