- Mahlers Star is for sale to the best of homes only. I bought him in June this year for my first season point to point but unfortunately due to new work commitments I do not have the time. He is absolutely good as gold on the ground anyone can handle him. When ridden he is sharp he’s a typical TB some days nothing bothers him and other days he’s got it about him, never dangerous or silly just sharp. He will hack alone but prefers company, good as gold in all types of traffic and hacks along next to a main railway line with no issues. I haven’t done much with him except for one fun ride which he loved and flew everything. I haven’t hunted him but I think he would really enjoy it and would certainly excel at teamchasing or go pointing alternatively he would retrain to event as he has fabulous paces and a super jump. Good to shoe, box, teeth and vet. I haven’t clipped him but I was told he is fine to clip. He did have a minor wind surgery on his soft palate a few years ago and returned to racing afterwards. Please note he is in very light work hardly being ridden at all due to not having the time to ride so he is practically sold from the field. But he can be hacked out to be tried.
