- 12.2 reg new forest gelding. 11 years old He’s a lovely little child’s pony. Good to handle, never rude or bargy. Smallest of children can groom him, lead him and tack him up. He’s never silly or strong, always very level headed. Will pop a jump from trot or canter. He’s not strong into a jump. Very safe in open spaces. Doesn’t get excitable. He’s good to hack out, will lead in company or follow along. He will hack out alone nicely. Good in traffic. He’s on a working farm so tractors, quad bikes and gators don’t phase him at all. Based near Brecon/hay on wye
