- ****Superstar in the making**** Talented Connemara Pony - 15h Fully Registered 4yr Gelding By the popular showjumping stallion, Currabawn Mark, out of a Village King mare. All breeding is fully recorded. N/N for hoof wall. Mark came over from Ireland at the beginning of December having been just backed. We have steadily been working away with him since then and he has excelled all our expectations on how easy he finds everything. He’s truly a beautiful stamp of a pony with an excellent conformation. He has been to several arena hires and xc schooled, proving brave, bold, scopey, honest, willing and extremely talented! This pony is showing all the signs that he is rather special, and will go on to be fun and competitive in any sphere. He loves his hacking, both alone and in company. He has been brilliant with all traffic. He has also been to the beach with friends, proving sane and sensible in open spaces and cantering along with others. Mark will live in or out with mares or geldings. He is currently living out in a big field with a few others. He’s also been regularly stabled and has no vices. He loads and travels on a trailer or wagon and happily stands on his own while you ride another. Easy to take out and about away from the yard and manage on your own. He certainly isn’t the backward / nappy / clingy type of youngster, he is nicely forward and off the leg, albeit always snaffle mouthed. He is confident to go off on his own and do whatever is asked of him. You can jump on him bareback and ride him in from the field. He has had the perfect start to his education, and we have thoroughly enjoyed producing him. He is now ready to progress with a new jockey.
